The New York Multifamily Team at Marcus & Millichap is looking for a Real Estate Transaction and Marketing Coordinator in our Brooklyn office. Ideal candidates are extremely detailed oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to perform assignments with a high degree of accuracy while keeping a strict schedule. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Additionally, the candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
 
This position is a provides a direct pathway for those wanting to enter the commercial real estate brokerage on the most active team in New York City.  Ideally candidates will work 12-18 months, learning the business from the ground up, before transitioning to a full-time broker.

The work location will be in our Brooklyn office, not remote, and will be Monday-Friday full-time.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Working alongside real estate brokers to create proposals and marketing materials for new listings.
    • Update team database and marketing materials throughout entire sales process from proposal to closing.
    • Publishing team listings on 3rd party websites and responding to online inquiries.
    • Assist brokers with property research and Salesforce database maintenance.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings/communication with external contacts such as vendors, brokers, staff from other real estate brokerages or law firms, tenants, and property managers.
    • General office work.

Skills Required:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
    • Bachelor's degree. Related experience preferred.

Skills Preferred:

    • Real estate industry experience
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
    • Social media marketing
    • New York Real Estate Salesperson a plus, but not required.
