Job Description: Marcus & Millichap is seeking a conscientious, career minded, fast-learning Entry-Level Research Analyst to support a top producing Commercial Real Estate Brokerage team in the Fort Lauderdale office. The Research Analyst will provide financial and analytical support, which will include preparing proposals/opinions of value, data input, underwriting property values, performing market research, analyzing comparable properties and trends, and helping to prepare financial analysis for presentation to clients. Professionalism and attention to detail are musts.  The Research Analyst will be a resourceful contributor to the team who can operate in a fast paced and demanding environment, take direction, and multi-task. Analytical and professional business writing skills are ideal. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. Superior computer skills are a must; candidate should be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have general Excel capabilities.





    • Review financial statements and operating information
    • Market research
    • Contribute to preparing financial models for commercial real estate valuation
    • Gather data for the sale of comparable properties
    • Track market trends such as rental growth and development
    • Help prepare marketing and promotional materials
    • Database Management
    • Various organizational projects

Required Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree, or higher
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Versatile/flexible with the ability and willingness to take on new responsibilities and tasks as requested
    • Competent analytical skills
    • Confirm to basic deadlines
    • Ideally proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point
    • Ability to handle sensitive material and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
    • Have a team-player attitude
