Marcus & Millichap is seeking a talented, career minded, Transaction Manager to support a top producing Commercial Real Estate Brokerage team in the Atlanta office. This role will work specifically within a sales team. This combination provides the entrepreneurial feel of a small business while enjoying the benefits and tools of a national firm. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, exceptionally organized, detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

    • Overall organization of the team
    • Maintain organized electronic files for all proposals and listings
    • Maintain organization of reports in APTO database
    • Ongoing updates to APTO database
    • Network File management
    • Web tracking and statistics reporting
    • Managing Constant contact list
    • Maintain supplies for trade shows, mailers, and other team events
    • Maintain Operations Manual

    • Support Agents
    • Work with agents to prepare proposals and offering memorandums, including gathering rental comps, sale comps, and entering financial data into underwriting model.
    • Assist with transaction due diligence including creating drop box and miscellaneous follow up items for clients. Verify all due diligence documents are uploaded by the seller and obtain all necessary items are collected and delivered within PSA compliance.
    • Assist with inputting data, registering prospects, managing weekly marketing campaigns, and creating offer matrices
    • Send email blasts for new listings, call for offers and others as needed
    • Draft listing agreements, confidentiality agreements, and listing addendum agreements
    • Mail closing gift baskets
    • Coordinate all documentation submission to office staff for new listings, under contract and closings with close attention to timeliness.
    • Assist agent as necessary with closing items, including running prorations
    • Print OM’s for each new listing

    • Keep up to date with MM software changes, sales aids, reports
    • Coordinate with MAS for deal story booklet updates and OM’s created by MAS
    • Maintain strong relationships with office staff and other team operation managers

    • Prepare monthly newsletter – adding new contacts each month per APTO report
    • Updating Website for Gorman Group activity and industry news.
    • Maintain SSA state memberships – oversee meeting calendars, maintain updated marketing per association requirements, maintain memberships lists and track attendance. Provide budget by state for review.
    • Create and run reports for Quarterly Business planning
    • Provide support for client events, press releases,

Qualifications:

    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Outlook, Salesforce a plus, Adobe
    • Strong planning and organizational skills, highly effective at prioritizing tasks to see them through to completion
    • Ability to manage deadlines and perform under pressure
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • High level of attention to detail and proven problem-solving capabilities
    • Aptitude for quickly comprehending and inputting data
    • Professionalism, drive, and eagerness to better CRE knowledge
    • Able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, work well independently
