This role is a full-time position working with a Commercial Real Estate Investment Sales agent in the Houston office of Marcus & Millichap. The individual in this position will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage marketing for a high performing commercial real estate team that specializes in institutional multifamily property sales in Texas
    • Collaborate with agents to create email marketing campaigns for exclusive property listings and other email branding campaigns
    • Candidate will also assist with several executive administrative tasks including transactions procedures, creating organizational pipeline documents and other systems to create business efficiencies
    • Consistently update database and keep track of market transactions
    • Opportunity to grow with the agents on the front end and help grow a team of investment professionals over time
    • Candidate will have the opportunity to work independently on projects and then collaborate with the agent on new ideas or implementations as they see fit

Technical Skills:

    • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
    • Proficient with InDesign program to create marketing brochures, proposals, offering memorandums, client reports and team branding materials.
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and a familiarity with spreadsheet formulas
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
    • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

    • Prior administrative experience in a sales group essential
    • Real estate, legal or financial services industry experience preferred
    • Flexible attitude with the willingness to take on new projects
    • Highly service-oriented individual with the ability to work well as part of a team
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to take independent initiative for action within areas of responsibility
    • Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
