Marcus & Millichap is seeking a Digital Media Coordinator to join its industry-leading Research Services team in Phoenix. The position reports to the Senior Vice President, National Director of Research and Advisory Services and is responsible for creating video content and delivering real estate research promotions to a variety of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the company. This position works on an array of marketing and communications projects with an emphasis on video content creation, social media marketing and website content maintenance.

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the adoption and use of research by company management, sales professionals and external investor clients. This includes creating video content as well as supporting digital marketing efforts and other adoption initiatives. This individual must have strong multimedia capabilities as well as the ability to work successfully within a high paced, production-centric environment. The individual will be expected to become knowledgeable about the commercial real estate industry including terminology

Responsibilities

    • Write, shoot, direct, edit and distribute scripted and non-scripted video content.
    • Organize digital content on both internal and external company websites including the uploading and tagging of material.
    • Support and execute social media marketing strategies and communication.
    • Track and maintain counts of production material (reports and videos) for quarterly and annual reports.

Skills & Experience

    • Experience shooting, directing and editing video content both in studio and at events and in the field.
    • Ability to effectively light and stage a set for filming.
    • Strong working knowledge of video equipment use and capabilities, including cameras, lighting, teleprompters, audio systems, computers and tablets.
    • Experience with social media engagement and digital marketing preferred.
    • Knowledge of CRM applications including key metrics and performance indicators preferred.
    • Knowledge of HTML fundamentals and basic website platforms.
    • Experience with SiteCore and Pardot a plus.
    • Able to collect and synthesize website data for customizable dashboards and reports.
    • Experience, familiarity with or interest in economic concepts and the commercial real estate industry is beneficial.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Video Production preferred or equivalent professional experience in end-to-end video shooting/editing/production.
    • Demonstrated creative proficiency as a video editor and shooter.
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator in a PC environment.
    • Excellent PC computer and internet skills are essential; able to utilize Google Analytics and Looker Studio to analyze website data and report analytics.
    • Experience with HTML (Dreamweaver) and basic web development tools desired.
    • Strong organization skills, solutions-oriented perspective, extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
