Marcus & Millichap, the nation’s largest real estate investment brokerage firm is looking for an entry-level Administrative Assistant to provide support to a top performing senior sales agent in the Houston Office.   Candidates must be extremely dependable, organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to work independently.  Additionally, the candidate must have exceptional follow through, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be highly motivated and possess exceptional PC skills (Microsoft Office Package), as well as outstanding written/verbal communication skills.

    • Manage marketing for a high performing commercial real estate agent that specializes in manufactured home property sales.
    • Collaborate with agent to create mailers and email marketing campaigns for exclusive property listings and other branding campaigns.
    • Candidate will also assist with several administrative tasks including transactions procedures, creating organizational pipeline documents and other systems to create business efficiencies.
    • Opportunity to grow with the agent on the front end and help grow a team of investment professionals over time.
    • Candidate will have the opportunity to work independently on projects and then collaborate with the agent on new ideas or implementations as they see fit.

Technical Skills:

    • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
    • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.


    • Prior administrative experience in a sales group preferred.
    • Real estate, legal or financial services industry experience not required, but a plus.
    • Flexible attitude with the willingness to take on new projects.
    • Highly service-oriented individual with the ability to work well as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to take independent initiative for action within areas of responsibility.
    • Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
