Marigold Health is looking for a Partnership Associate who will build closer relationships with our care delivery partners to improve the Marigold patient experience and increase our clinical impact. This person will report to Marigold's Director of Community Operations and will work closely with them on business development, implementation, and ongoing stakeholder engagement. They will make sure that providers understand and incorporate our services into their patient offerings.  Your primary role will be an external face for our product and company, so developing and maintaining trust and clear communication with partners is key. We’re looking for someone familiar with healthcare delivery interested in learning more about business strategy. If you’re excited about creating deep, lasting relationships with providers in order to expand Marigold’s ability to support people through mental health and substance use treatment, we want to hear from you.   
About Marigold 
Marigold Health exists to give every person with a mental health or substance use condition a place to feel heard.  We have designed an asynchronous-first treatment program where patients support each other. We believe peers, individuals in recovery themselves who have received training to support others, can empower & engage those least likely to interact with current forms of care.   

What You'll Do

    • Manage and set the strategy for effective provider relationship management within your assigned markets.
    • Help to inform member engagement targets based on SOWs and provider contracts. 
    • Identify expansion opportunities in your territory, and drive prospects through the sales funnel
    • Ensure enrollment targets outlines in provider contacts within your target markets are achieved 
    • Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities in your assigned markets though prospecting and outreach  
    • Travel onsite to provider partners within the state and help members sign up for the Marigold platform
    • Execute and keep updated agreements with provider agencies in your territory  
    • Serve as the primary Marigold point of contact for partners within your markets – you are the individual they call when they run into issues, their source of truth when they have a question about Marigold 
    • Schedule and lead regular meetings with provider partners in your territory 
    • Document priorities and key takeaways to share with relevant stakeholders 
    • Identify appropriate outreach materials for each provider partner 
    • Develop provider engagement strategies including training, visit cadence, and on-site visits from peers 
    • Work with product, clinical operations, and other internal teams to inform our company roadmap 
    • Socialize provider engagement strategy with internal teams 
    • Manage and set clear expectations for on-site peer support, and coordinate directly with individual Marigold peers to ensure they are set up for success onsite 
    • Allocate Marigold peer resources for on-site recruitment in your markets 
    • Work closely with clinical supervisors to align on expectations and deliverables for onsite peer staff 
    • Share relevant insights related to provider needs, expectations, and referral experience with internal teams at Marigold

What You Have

    •  3+ years of full-time work experience 
    • An understanding of provider workflows, and familiarity with effective change management tactics and frameworks  
    • Ability to rapidly produce high-quality external-facing collateral materials including reporting
    • Ability to self-direct work and prioritize based on expected impact   
    • Excellent verbal and written communication  
    • Be a creative prospector, both experienced with traditional tools (email, cold calling) and comfortable experimenting with new technologies 
    • Be data-driven in measuring and improving the impact of your outreach efforts 

    • Nice to have  
    • Existing provider network management, care quality and/or healthcare business development experience  
    • Experience with digital healthcare implementation and/or operations  
    • Experience working in the community mental health system  
    • Organized, attentive to detail, and believe that great process leads to great results 
    • Basic data visualization skills  
    • Highly coachable: you’re invested in your professional growth, development, and career path 
    • Personal lived experience in recovery

    • Schedule, Reporting, and Location
    • This is a FT opportunity reporting to the Director of Community Operations. Most team members work virtually from home and are located on the east coast and internationally. Candidates can work remotely from anywhere in the state of Delaware and should expect to be available during east coast hours. You will be expected to travel onsite to visit our provider partners. Travel costs will be covered by the company. We have offices in Boston, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island and Wilmington, Delaware.   

Compensation, Benefits, and Culture

    • The base salary range for this role is $55 - $70K, depending on experience.

Interview Process  
After you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the hiring manager and select members of the team. If it seems like we’re a good fit for each other, we will follow up and schedule a 15-30 minute phone call with one of our leaders to get to know you. 

If we jointly decide to move forward, you can plan to (virtually) attend a 45-60 video interview with a member of the Partnerships team. The final stage would be to meet (2-4) other members of the team via video conference for additional conversations about your approach to collaboration, your relevant experience to current projects, and alignment with our values. All in, you can expect the time commitment for this stage to be 3-4 hours of synchronous interaction, scheduled to fit your needs.

Marigold Health is an early-stage, rapidly growing startup providing services for a range of community based mental health and substance use treatment providers as well as national health insurers.  We collaborate with eminent investigators at Brown University and Johns Hopkins and have been publicly recognized by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the American Psychiatric Association.    

Our program is a combination of 1-1 coaching and 24/7 anonymous chat support groups accessed over phone, SMS, and app/web. On the backend, proprietary natural language processing tools scale our peer workforce by augmenting group moderation, automating patient outreach, and sending sentiment-based “alerts” to coordinate care with other providers. Following strong results from our first clinical studies, we are entering a period of rapid growth, and expect to expand from 2 states today to 12 by this time next year.
