About this Role

You’ll be joining a high-energy, fast-paced team that takes a consultative approach to sales and account management. Your primary role will be to discover, explore and close new and exciting business opportunities. Our ideal candidate will come with a large rolodex of SMBs plus direct experience selling into customers ranging from founders to executives to marketers at early stage, high growth, VC backed, and mid market companies (10-500 employees).

    • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities to cultivate sales leads
    • Contact potential clients to establish rapport, strategic partnerships and arrange business meetings
    • Bring in new clients, build long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, and expand the company's presence online and offline by attending networking events
    • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
    • Work directly with colleagues to develop, write and deliver content for pitches and proposals

Qualifications / Experience / Education

    • This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented, scrappy, creative individual with a strong client service mentality
    • Has strong motivation for sales with the ability to close
    • A desire to work extremely hard and long hours if that means winning
    • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to successfully represent MarketerHire and our capabilities
    • Has proven and established deep, existing relationships with clients while working to bring new opportunities to the company
    • 5-7 years experience in sales, business development and relationship building
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Has strong presentation skills
    • Maintains a high energy level with the appropriate amount of professionalism
