General Job Responsibilities
- Turning on machinery and systems
- Setting up line wire magazines, proper gap openings and gauges, electrode holders, magnets, grippers, exit table rails, side pushers, trimmers, etc.
- Aligning crosswire magazines with the proper drop height, gauge, and number of wheels
- Writing, editing, and transferring software programs, as well as pulling existing programs
- Reading prints and tapes
- Monitoring equipment’s safety requirements and emergency features
- Performing part quality checks to confirm good welds, squareness, and adherence to part specs, while also looking for broken welds and excessive marking or smashing
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment
Job Requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to read prints and measuring tapes
- Manufacturing or mechanical experience is preferred
$24 - $26 an hour
