MassMutual Data Science Development Program: Fourth Cohort
Interested in becoming a data scientist?
MassMutual offers a Data Science Development Program (DSDP) in Amherst, MA that trains promising, recent graduates to become well-rounded data scientists over a period of three years. The program combines rigorous academic coursework at the Five Colleges and practical data science projects for MassMutual—a unique and valuable combination. Students in the development program work closely with senior data scientists and can simultaneously enroll in a Master's degree program at UMass Amherst. Our strong intent is that at the end of the program you continue on as a data scientist with MassMutual, ready to successfully direct your own data science projects.
The MassMutual Data Labs, in downtown Amherst, comprises senior data scientists and our first three cohorts, collectively forming a dynamic team that's actively engaged in dozens of high-impact projects across the enterprise. We are now seeking a fourth class of recent or imminent graduates from the fields of computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics and who are enthusiastic about pursuing a career in data science. Our environment has a start-up feel and serves as joint classroom and workplace. We offer above-market compensation and a graduated salary schedule that increases each year as coursework and skill sets increase. We hire only the most exceptional candidates and are willing to sponsor foreign nationals.
