We're hiring an Associate Manager of Consumer Research to join our Corporate Strategy & Research team!
We are looking for a candidate with strong strategic thinking skills and experience managing projects from initiation through completion. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Consumer Research and work closely with other research team members in the design, development, and deployment of key research projects supporting corporate and brand-level strategic initiatives. This position is based in LA with a three day hybrid in-office work schedule.
How you’ll make an impact:
- You'll support consumer research studies to inform corporate and brand decision-making on topics ranging from portfolio strategy, trust and safety, campaign measurement, product innovation, and brand positioning. Must be able to design, structure and manage quantitative and qualitative research.
- You'll partner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into a study design that will help them solve for a solution to the problem.
- You’ll be responsible for designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research projects and delivering actionable recommendations.
- You'll participate in short term and long-term strategic planning for consumer research initiatives across businesses.
We could be a match if:
- You have 3+ years of hands-on experience with consumer research; experience in leading global research.
- You can thrive in a lean, hands-on and fast-paced environment. You’re happy to get your hands dirty and own all stages of research.
- You have strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in statistical analysis, as well as proficiency with statistical software packages (SPSS).
- You have strong communication and report writing skills.
What's the team like?
- Our Consumer Research team is a small group that reports into a larger Strategy team led by Match Group’s SVP of Strategy and Operations.
- We're highly collaborative and serve customers globally, so being organized is key!
- We’re based out of Tinder's LA office.
$110,000 - $118,000 a year
The compensation range listed above is representative of the base salary offered.
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Los Angeles. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
