The Team

Our core engagement team at Tinder covers all user-facing communication to our members, and we're always seeking to polish, refine, and redefine how we get in touch with those using the app. We work closely with all product teams to ensure that their work gets showcased to the right people and communicated out globally! Our CRM lifecycle series and events are changing the way in which our members interact with each other, and we have front row seats to help craft that experience. The team is constantly testing out what the best messaging, audience, and timing is for all projects in order to grow in our understanding of our members.

As a Senior Engagement Lifecycle Manager, you are key player in making sure members on the app have the best experience possible! This role plays a strategic part in collaborating with two teams: product and marketing. In product, you're working closely with teams to understand how to better communicate and highlight features as well as handling expectations for the project's communication strategy. In marketing, you'll be partnering with them to help amplify the communication of marketing efforts through our engagement channels to increase visibility and adoption. Additionally, our team drives communication and collaboration of other cross functional teams that help with these projects.

Where you'll work

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration twice per week. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA.

In this role, you will:

    • Be the problem-solver first in line to help keep everything on track and drive the project from conception through execution, keeping all teams up to date on progress.
    • Own and execute CRM lifecycle campaign strategies (end-to-end campaign production) to increase engagement and reduce churn.
    • Own communication and coordination with internal partners to develop accurate strategy and ensure timely planning, creation, and deployment of campaigns supporting new feature launches.
    • Support all marketing initiatives including brand campaigns and weekly newsletters / campaigns.
    • Supervise and interpret campaign and lifecycle dashboards and report findings with the team and boarder audiences.
    • Design, plan, implement and report results of a/b and multivariate tests with support from the analytics team.
    • Define and lead a well-defined project management process and cultivate ongoing process improvement.
    • Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and reducing execution complexity.

You'll need:

    • 5+ years of engagement experience (with member base of 150,000+).
    • Knowledge of lifecycle workflows, systems, and strategies for segmented user bases.
    • Proven understanding of the app space and able to work with business, design, engineering and product management.
    • Experience with enterprise level CRM platforms (e.g. Leanplum, Braze, Urban Airship).
    • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, opt- in and opt-out practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to interface efficiently with other departments.
    • Solid understanding of HTML, SQL, Sketch, and Photoshop.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and keep up with a large volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000.  Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Los Angeles, California. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
