As the Principal Program Manager for Tinder's Core product, you will drive strategic alignment across the Product, Design, and Engineering teams dedicated to the seamless execution of Tinder’s Core Product Roadmap. You will be a pivotal leader in the Product Development Lifecycle as we continuously innovate, refine, and optimize our Core Product portfolio to anticipate the evolving needs of our expansive global members. 

Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA. We also have offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto. 

You Will:

    • Lead and develop a growing team towards enhancing Tinder's flagship offerings within the Core Product Team.
    • Partner across Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
    • Drive the implementation of best practices, building and implementing continuous improvement frameworks and operational excellence.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, empowering them to deliver high-quality products that exceed user expectations.
    • Own strategic alignment and engagement with key team members, resource management, risk management, communication models, and execution against commitments.
    • Be the subject matter expert of Tinder’s Product Development Lifecycle Process (PDLC) and support the team through education and rollout.
    • Drive the team to deliver high-value product features that drive value for members and the business.

You'll Need:

    • 8-10 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Product Operations.
    • Experience with collaboration management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Figma, and Miro.
    • Strong experience in building PDLC and SDLC processes.
    • Ability to build strong relationships across multifunctional organizations, including Leaders from Design, Engineering, and Product teams.
    • Excellent communication skills and encourages constructive 360 feedback.
    • Expertise in agile methodologies for delivery management and software development best practices.
    • Understanding trade-offs pertaining to the needs of the business, member experience, and execution timelines.
    • Experience delivering high-visibility, major cross-functional initiatives on a large-scale platform.
    • Empathic leadership style that fosters a culture of continuous improvement and empowers innovative ideas across the entire team.
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying gaps from a solutions-focused perspective, and driving clarity in complex opportunities.

$211,500 - $230,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in West Hollywood, Palo Alto, and San Francisco, CA. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
