The Manager / Senior Manager will be part of the Content & Culture marketing team leading Tinder’s college marketing efforts! This is an exciting opportunity to craft and elevate Tinder’s brand positioning and adoption amongst this critical cohort. This role will set the US college strategy for Tinder acting as the go-to expert and advocate for the college user experience. Flexing both executional and creative skills, this position will work cross functionally with internal and external partners to drive forward an innovative 360 marketing plan.

This role will report to the Director of Culture & Content and operate out of our Los Angeles office in a hybrid model. In office presence required x3/week. 

In this role you will:

    • Spearhead Tinder’s college marketing efforts setting the vision and long term strategy to drive adoption and growth with this demo
    • Identify tactics to elevate perception and engage college students
    • Guide agency partners from conception through execution
    • Set the marketing mix to support campaign including but not limited to; on-the-ground events, ambassadors, influencers, social, paid media
    • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal teams including brand, product, comms, social, creative, research, analytics
    • Partner with product and product marketing to develop solutions for improving college user experience
    • Manage the day-to-day logistics of project plans crafting and owning timelines, budgets, trackers, and recaps
    • Live and breathe in culture - we are looking for a college subject matter expert and thought leadership around what will cut through with Gen Z
    • Track results and analytics and draw meaningful conclusions and takeaways from these metrics and regularly sharing them with the team
    • Conduct and leverage research on cultural moments, conversations, brands, and trends that align with Gen z and specifically related to the college life

We're looking for:

    • Prior marketing experience focused on college and/or building similar community engagement / brand ambassador programs
    • Experience leading brand campaigns at various budget tiers
    • Experience working across multiple marketing verticals including experiential, social, influencers, brand ambassadors
    • Experience working with external agencies including creative, strategy, and media
    • Someone who is both a creative mind and executional expert
    • Proactive self-starter and strategic problem solver with get-it-done attitude
    • Extremely organized and able to maintain quality output while working in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
    • Has an eye for spotting cultural trends
    • Positive and optimistic outlook

$130,000 - $150,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
