About the Role
Hinge is hiring a Lead Product Manager, Internal Tools!

As the Lead Product Manager for the Hinge Trust & Safety Internal Tools team, you will lead the development of community experience tools that allow Hinge to effectively moderate content, respond to escalations, handle appeals, support customers, and more. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to build and integrate first and third party tools. This role is essential to enable front line operations teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

    • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy for internal tools, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Build and manage first-party tools: Be the accountable owner for all internal tools, identifying when tools need to be developed, changed, or deprecated.
    • Procurement Expertise: Identify opportunities for third-party solutions, weighing the tradeoffs of building versus buying products. Be able to effectively represent your perspective to leadership.
    • Feature Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to define, prioritize, and deliver technical solutions and features that improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
    • CRM Integration: Lead efforts to integrate Zendesk and other third-party tools, ensuring seamless operations and data synchronization.
    • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap, regularly communicating updates to stakeholders.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer support, operations, and engineering teams to ensure alignment, identify external projects with potential tooling dependencies, and effective execution of internal tools projects.
    • Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to track the performance of internal tools and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
    • Compliance and Security: Ensure that internal tools meet security and compliance standards, protecting user data and company assets.
    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party tool providers, research buy-vs-build opportunities, negotiate contracts, and stay informed about updates and new features.

What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager building tools to enable internal teams. Previous work in B2B SaaS or CRM companies is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business, etc.). 
    • Strong technical background with a good understanding of software development and integrations.
    • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support platforms is highly desirable.
    • Experience identifying strategic problems and building end-to-end tooling solutions.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Passion for creating tools that improve the internal workflow and user experience.
$197,500 - $237,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
