[Scope of work]
- Main teaching course: IELTS Advanced (aim for overall 7.0+, less than 10 students/class).
- Location: UFO IELTS (72 Phố Dịch Vọng, Phường Dịch Vọng, Quận Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội).
- Teach the IELTS Academic focusing on 4 key skills: IELTS advanced level student with provided curriculum and methodology + with your own course materials.
- Be responsible for lesson planning, preparation, assessment of students, and to attend certain other training/events as required by the company.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage learners’ performance throughout the course.
- Mark and provide appropriate feedback on written work to complete teaching-related administrative tasks to specified standards.
- Actively engage in professional development and performance management systems and procedures to assure high standards in teaching and learning.
- Coordinate with the staff / managers to support student’s academic needs.
- Support the management in organizing activities when assigned.
- Participating in the teacher development program, including IELTS Teacher Training Course and in-service development workshops
- Working day: Monday to Friday and Sunday
- Teaching hours: Morning 09:30-11:30, Afternoon13:30-15:30 and/or 15:30-17:30, Evening 17:30-21:30 (4 hours), Sunday13:30-16:30 (4 hours)
- Depending on whether classes are open, the shift can be changed, and working hours can be adjusted by mutual agreement.
[Requirements]
- For Vietnamese nationals only: Undergraduate degree (BA or equivalent / higher)
- Contained IELTS score: Overall 8.5 / No skills under 7.5
- CELTA, TESOL or equivalent recognized entry-level qualification to teach English as a Foreign/Second Language
- Experienced working as an IELTS instructor for at least 2 years.
- Contained or experienced participating in developing curriculum / textbooks.
- Starting date: 15th, March, 2024 (one training day is included).
- NOTICE: Every applicant must prepare 2 mock classes (2 different skills) / 10-15 minutes each. When preparing for the demo lesson, you should provide supplementary materials, and choose the questions that the students find most difficult.

- Schedules would be subject to change periodically, but advance notice is given.
- Should operational needs be required, teachers may be asked to carry out teaching-related non-teaching tasks in lieu of teaching (e.g. developing teaching materials, administrative tasks, marketing materials and conducting mock tests, etc.) as part of their scheduled hours.
- Teachers may be offered more hours of teaching than in their core contract. If they accept, they will be paid additionally for these hours.
- All teachers are required to contribute quality lesson materials as part of the shared planning scheme.
