Matillion is The Data Productivity Cloud.
We are on a mission to power the data productivity of our customers and the world, by helping teams get data business ready, faster. Our technology allows customers to load, transform, sync and orchestrate their data.
We are looking for passionate, high-integrity individuals to help us scale up our growing business. Together, we can make a dent in the universe bigger than ourselves.
We're now looking for a Vice President of Strategy and Operations to join our global team.
Reporting to the CFO/COO, you'll be at the heart of our operations, taking the lead on everything from annual planning to cross-functional execution. You'll be the connective tissue of our organisation, ensuring every team is aligned, every strategy is executed, and every opportunity for growth is seized.
What you'll be doing
- Lead on our operational rhythm. Own and evolve our company-wide operational cadence, including monthly and quarterly business reviews and the annual planning cycle. You’ll be the one ensuring we're always on track to hit our goals.
- Champion the execution of company-wide strategic initiatives. You'll track progress, identify risks, and remove roadblocks, all while keeping executive leadership informed with clear, data-driven reports.
- Oversee and enhance the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into our performance. You'll partner with leaders across the company to ensure we're making data-driven decisions and optimising our efficiency.
- You'll act as the central point of contact between departments like Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. You’ll translate high-level goals into actionable plans, owning key transformation programs that improve our processes and systems.
- Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team dedicated to fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and bias for action.
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in business strategy, operations, or program management within a high-growth SaaS or enterprise software company.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and scaling operational systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to run executive-level cadences and operating models.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in performance tracking, metrics, and dashboarding.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics, financial drivers, and customer lifecycle analytics
