We are now looking for a Sales Development Representatives (SDR's) to join #TeamGreen. This role will be based from our Manchester HQ.

SDRs are responsible for driving revenue and customer acquisition for Matillion by prospecting leads and qualifying opportunities within an assigned geographic territory. SDRs are also the talent pipeline for the rest of our sales organisation. We expect SDRs to be in the role for 12-18 months prior to being considered for a Commercial Account Executive role.

What you will be doing

    • Prospect and develop leads, both inbound and outbound
    • Educate & qualify warm leads to create sales-ready opportunities
    • Analyse customer needs in regard to current business obstacles, identify opportunities and determine the potential for Matillion solutions (Master the ability to evangelise the Matillion story)
    • Work cohesively with an account executive to strategically attain key accounts in your select region or territories
    • Refine an Enterprise-level sales process that balances personalization with volume and efficiency
    • Be a member of a growing and supportive team which will prepare you for an amazing sales career at Matillion and beyond
    • Follow up on demand-generation activities such as webinars, conferences, field marketing events, partner events, etc
    • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained in CRM
    • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of activity metrics,  meetings attended and qualified opportunities
    • Build strong working relationships with all teams within Matillion; sales, marketing, partners, sales engineering
    • Share best practices with other SDRs, collaborate with other members of sales organisation to maximise productivity

What we are looking for

    • Experience in a similar/sales role (SDR experience preferred) 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
    • Background in SaaS B2B selling and/or similar industry (Software, Data, Tech, Cloud technologies)
    • Exceptional at staying organised and being able to prioritise
    • Self-starter that exhibits a desire to be at the top of the leaderboard while also balancing a great team-player mentality

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated base compensation range for this position is £32,000. This role is eligible for variable pay so your total on-target earnings will be between £46,000 but the final salary will be based on the relevant skills and experience demonstrated in the hiring process."
