Matternet is looking for an enthusiastic and creative thinker to join our operations team. You will be critical to enabling the team to accomplish their tasks by taking on a variety of projects and support the overall running of our new HQ.

You Will:

    • Have a front Desk-like presence, to include greeting visitors, answering calls, receiving parcels
    • Improve company procedures and day-to-day operations, identifying issues and working to solve them efficiently
    • Manage office-related vendor relationships for vendors who provide services to the office
    • Maintain all common areas, conference rooms, and kitchens, making sure the proper supplies are in those areas and stock supplies as needed
    • Purchasing control over office-related supplies; track costs. Ensure that the facility is consistently maintained in a professional manner.
    • Schedule and coordinate employee desk moves, including the placement, cleanup, and setup of new hires and all departures (may also assist with on-boarding)
    • Light event planning/coordination
    • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and other practices set forth by upper management (as well as help establishing said policies)
    • Provide administrative support to Business Operations as a whole (with some time given to Purchasing & Accounting or company filing system (Box) related tasks)

You Have:

    • 1+ years of experience as an Office Administrator or Facilities related role with Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or 3 years equivalent experience 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Excellent customer service skills, as well as a positive, calm demeanor,  are essential
    • Ability to act autonomously when needed to ensure decisions are both swift and cost-effective
    • Experience working with various executives, personalities, and a large volume of employee requests
    • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
    • Efficient and effective multitasking skills

Great Additions:

    • Experience with Slack, JIRA/Confluence, Expensify, SAP ByDesign, Box
    • Start-up experience (fast-paced environment)
    • Social media experience
