Description
The Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) Senior Consultant holds a multifaceted role, responsible for consulting on Dynamics 365 ERP engagements with a focus on implementation, upgrade, and extension of existing applications. They actively participate in hands-on configuration of Dynamics 365 ERP Supply Chain Management modules, supporting clients throughout the implementation and maintenance phases. Additionally, as a member of the Modern Platform Management team, they contribute to delivering exceptional customer service by troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Dynamics 365 ERP application. This self-motivated individual takes ownership of issues, collaborating with customers, partners, and team members until resolution is achieved. The Consultant's primary focus lies in assisting customers with Sales and Marketing, Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, Master Planning, and Warehouse Management modules, while also handling other modules and basic Dynamics 365 ERP functionality. Moreover, they play a pivotal role in enhancing operational metrics, participating in business case development, and engaging in performance measurement activities. This role entails up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

    • ·Provide outstanding customer service, maintain effective customer relationships, and achieve client satisfaction.
    • Facilitate the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules including but not limited to Warehouse Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales & Marketing, & Inventory Management.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and conduct gap analysis.
    • Produce Functional Design Documents when extensions are necessary.
    • Monitor and triage new support cases.
    • Log incidents and document communications in CE.
    • Effectively communicate to customers, partners, team members, and management
    • Develop whitepapers, best practice knowledge base, and articles.
    • Create, develop, and deliver proactive services with the use of new features or common repetitive areas.
    • Follow established standards & methodologies.
    • Lead successful modeling and process area showcase sessions.
    • Ensure success of projects by coaching or mentoring junior consultants.
    • Establish priorities and work independently.
    • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, fostering a culture of cooperation, knowledge sharing, and mutual support to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
    • Ability to configure, implement, test and resolve issues related to advanced warehousing features and functionality.
    • Design label printing solutions for advanced warehouse projects[LC1] .
    • Able to make decisions and recommendations based on advanced knowledge and experience.
    • Operates in unclear situations; is proactive
    • Works with moderately and often highly complex situations with limited guidance

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years Dynamics 365 ERP Manufacturing/Supply Chain experience or equivalent ERP industry experience.
    • A minimum of 2 full years staffed on Dynamics 365 (AX) implementations.
    • Holds active Microsoft Dynamics Supply Functional Associate – MB-330 certification.
    • Proficiency in configuring the Dynamics 365 (D365) mobile device for warehouse management, demonstrating hands-on experience in setting up and optimizing its functionalities.
    • Robust industry experience within Supply Chain or Materials Management, demonstrating a deep understanding of manufacturing industry-specific processes, challenges, and best practices. Excellent communication, planning and organization skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, showcasing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively understand and address client needs and concerns.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%
    • English: Fluent
    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Desired Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field
    • Dynamics 365 ERP 2012 experience
    • Azure DevOps & Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services experience
    • Experience with other Dynamics 365 ERP Modules
    • Experience with SPS EDI, RF Smart, or other ISVs a plus
    • APICS CPIM or CSCP
$90,000 - $155,000 a year
PLUS Supplemental Compensation (Bonus) between $18-25K
