As a Senior Data Engineer you will help us shape our data infrastructure. You will be a key individual to drive the evolution of our architecture to handle more data, more types of data, more client data delivery mechanisms and support more internal users. You will be working in all aspects from researching technologies to coding to debugging production systems. Our data pipeline processes 1.6+ TB sensor data/day and is built using Spark, AWS, Python, Airflow. Below is a list of the major initiatives that you will be helping with.

Analyze and integrate new data sources such as receipt data, POS data, product review dataEnhance our survey pipeline from batch to near real-timeWork closely with our data science team to build and deploy model training platformsCreate new products to drive value for our enterprise clients. Scale and optimize our analytics database cluster

Qualifications you will need....

    • 5+ years experience with a distributed data processing technology (e.g. Spark, Storm, Presto, Samza, Flink, etc);
    • Familiarity with the issues associated with processing large data sets across distributed systems.
    • 5+ years of experience in Python or Scala
    • Able to write production ready code using CS, data and testing best practices
