MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking Occupational Therapists for a 12-week contract in Houston. Our approach centers on personalized pediatric care, focusing on each child's unique needs to create tailored therapy plans that support their growth and development. We prioritize collaboration with families and equip our therapists with resources to achieve meaningful
outcomes.
In this contract role, you'll have a structured schedule that allows dedicated time for individualized patient care and thorough documentation. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, working alongside experienced colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's progress.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Texas Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy interventions to enhance skills such as range of motion, strength, coordination, and daily living activities
- Educate families on techniques to reinforce therapy goals at home
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care; supervision of therapy assistants is beneficial
