About the Role 

Seeking a merchandising leader to help meaningfully grow visibility of new initiatives and categories and help create the perfect experience for Meesho’s customers within the app. We are looking for a leader who can understand customer needs, business objectives and content development for all touch points and execute best in class promotional strategies, thereby impacting metrics. The candidate should have a working knowledge in collaborating with design ,category and product teams, among other departments to develop effective content.

What you will do

    • Understanding the consumer profile, their usage behavior and needs to craft the most compelling branding of initiatives on app
    • Working on new initiatives and features like Mall, Gold and Trends to drive user adoption and drive value to business 
    • Collaborate with a team of creative and content writers to create compelling in-app communication, keeping in mind the customer journey on the app (banners, category pages, web view, SMS, Push Notifications, etc)
    • Create and track monthly execution plans for in-app communication and PNs 
    • Stay on top of relevant metrics to ensure constant improvement and quality check for better results
    • Keep abreast of industry best practices, innovations, that could improve relevant metrics within the app
    • Liaise with various stakeholders within the organization to optimize for the platform

What you will need

    • Graduate with 1-3 years of experience in working on solving business problems 
    • Strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling skills, with an attention to detail
    • Good understanding of e-commerce best practices
    • Experience in problem-solving using qualitative and quantitative data on consumer insights
    • Ability to develop first-principle thinking.
    • Proven skills in building and scaling processes.
    • Deep understanding of business and customers
    • Understanding of copy and creative which resonates with Meesho TG
    • Skilled at understanding effective headlines/ taglines for banners 
    • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams, understand their requirements, and translate them to the team
    • Work independently to solve complex problems
