About the Team

Meesho’s content commerce team is a relatively new team that directly contributes to Meesho’s GMV/ NMV. This team works on identifying opportunities in the influencer economy to leverage them for Meesho’s growth. As part of the team, individuals work on exciting new problem statements & contribute to Meesho’s content strategy across various social media platforms.

About the Role

As a member of the Content Commerce team at Meesho—one of India’s fastest‑growing new verticals, you will play a critical role in driving our bold vision: Meesho must become the lion’s share of creator earnings in India. In just its first year, the content commerce business empowered over 21,000 creators and generated orders through 14.5 million annual paying users, with content commerce order volume growing 3× faster than the rest of the platform  . You’ll help evolve tools like Meesho Creator Club, Video Finds, and Live Shop that democratise monetisation:especially for creators from Tier‑2+ cities. Your work will contribute to Meesho’s broader strategy of accessible, inclusive e‑commerce: over 187 million unique annual shoppers, 1.3 billion orders in nine months, and the first horizontal Indian e‑commerce platform to generate positive free cash flow: ₹197 crore in FY’24  . What you will do

    • Own end-to-end problem-solving of your workstream including ideation & implementation
    • Manage external stakeholders who are our partners in the Meesho affiliate program 
    • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders from Product, Operations, Legal teams to deliver on the defined business objectives, and drive program adherence with relevant teams
    • Analyze trends in Content Commerce and identify levers to unlock opportunities to increase Affiliate revenue
    • Manage project schedules, remove roadblocks and keep processes running smoothly
    • Continuously solve edge cases with suboptimal outcomes due to current processes
    • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control
    • Improve processes for completeness and better efficiency
    • Dive deep into the complex details of the program
    • Present detailed problem definitions and solution to senior leadership and execute the solutions
    • Be involved in day to day tracking of business critical metrics and setting up full proof processes preempting any roadblocks

What you will need

    • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
    • Exposure to e-commerce, sales and advertising
    • Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through your education
    • Experience in sales and marketing is preferred
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all relevant stakeholders
    • Prior work experience in content commerce is preferred Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
