Your Role
As a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region, you’ll be at the forefront of Megaport’s growth journey. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying inbound leads and generating new opportunities through smart, targeted outbound outreach.
This isn’t just about calls and emails - it’s about building connections, sparking interest, and helping businesses unlock the power of Megaport’s global platform. You’ll also play a part in shaping and refining our sales processes, bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and energy to a high-performing team.
While we are open to flexibility in location across the APAC region, this role is ideally based in hybrid arrangement at our Brisbane Headquarters.
In this individual contributor role, you’ll earn a base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 with an OTE of $90,000 - $100,000. Your success directly drives your earnings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage with potential customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, video, and live chat to qualify interest and generate new business opportunities.
- Manage inbound leads, identify new prospects, and run targeted outbound campaigns to build pipeline aligned with Megaport’s ideal customer profile.
- Use tools like Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and UserGems to research, track, and manage outreach.
- Communicate Megaport’s solutions and value to both technical and business stakeholders across APAC.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Marketing, and RevOps teams to support pipeline growth and regional revenue goals.
- Partner with Marketing on demand generation campaigns, events, and webinars.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track key metrics like leads worked, meetings booked, and pipeline created.
- Participate in coaching and enablement to continuously build your skills and accelerate your sales career.

- Passionate about building a career in the tech industry with a hunger to learn and develop.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth company with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
- Thrives on cold outreach, eager to exceed targets, and brings a mix of drive, curiosity, and professionalism to every conversation.
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales development (SDR/BDR/ADR) or other customer-facing sales roles, such as account management, retail, or direct sales
