Mendix – the leading low-code application development platform:
The Mendix Platform uses visual modeling to abstract long-form coding out of application development. Our customers use Mendix to create and deploy better software for the enterprise, faster. Mendix is collaborative - the people who use the software and the people who build the software work together throughout the development process.

Read our Customer Stories to learn more about the wealth of software and solutions global organizations have built with the Platform.

At Mendix we strive to maintain a diverse, open, and safe working environment where people can be their true selves. We value every voice, celebrate individuality, and appreciate the diversity of thought and experience. People who work here are driven, smart, and really good at what they do.

As this market evolves, we encourage people of all skill levels to work with the platform, both for clients and candidates. Apply today to discover how you can make a meaningful impact with Mendix.

About the Group
Mx Assist is a team of 10 people fully dedicated to providing assistance to Mendix developers while working with Studio Pro (our low-code IDE). We manage different projects, from Logic Bot (AI-based suggestions) and Validation assists to big features like Performance Bot (analyzing and providing performance suggestions) and Machine Learning Kits (to import ONNX models into the Mendix platform).
We share principles of openness, teamwork, and autonomy in making product and technical decisions. We use Scrum and Kanban methodologies for software development.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a critical part of our growing company, working on a cross-functional team to implement best practices in technology, architecture, and process. • Are always learning and innovating in your work, staying up-to-date in your field
    • Will dive deep into existing functionality to refactor and add new functionality
    • Prefer to work in a team instead of working in isolation
    • Like to learn from others and coach and mentor to help others be successful
    • Take responsibility for the quality of your work by identifying risks and testing it

Required:

    • Professional proficiency in Machine Learning: foundational concepts, metrics, model training, deployment and evaluation.
    • Professional proficiency in Data Science: foundational concepts of data analysis, model creation, hypothesis checking, model performance analysis and scenarios analysis

Tech Stack (depends on the project):

    • Languages: Java, Scala
    • Technologies/Services: Airflow, AWS Infra, Spark, TensorFlow, Pytorch, SciKit, Kubernetes, Terraform

Will be a plus:

    • Knowledge and practical experience on Machine Learning Engineering Design Patterns, Transformer architecture.
    • Experience with building software design tools or code analysis tools
    • Strong knowledge and usage of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design, SOLID principles
