The role
This is an exciting opportunity to be the first SDR at Squint, where you’ll be building a pipeline of prospects, creating value for customers, and helping to develop Squint’s sales playbook. We’re looking for someone who is curious, hard working, and excited about making an impact at an early stage startup. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be collaborating on a daily basis about sales strategy, prospective customer conversations, and more.

Squint is a software company backed by the leading venture capital firms Sequoia Capital and Menlo Ventures (early investors in Apple, Google, Airbnb, Uber, and more). Squint’s mission is to make AR the primary mechanism for information discovery and consumption. Squint’s first product to market is a platform for manufacturers that optimizes procedures and empowers the workforce on a mobile device.

Responsibilities

    • Building a strong sales pipeline by identifying qualified leads and key decision makers at prospective customers
    • Setting up and conducting intro/demo meetings with leads using customized pitches
    • Creating, testing, and practicing world-class sales strategies to take Squint’s sales to the next level
    • Collaborating with product and marketing to maximize early education for prospects about the impact and value that Squint will bring to their operations
    • Cultivating enduring customer relationships
    • Representing Squint at conferences and events

Experience

    • 1-2 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar role
    • Excited about the opportunity to make an impact and accelerate sales at a fast-paced startup
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Curious, self-motivated, and willing to go above and beyond
    • Resourceful and driven to achieve person and professional goals
