Work·up (noun)

1. a diagnostic examination of a patient.
2. a period of training or preparation, typically for a specific operation.

The Company

WorkUp is a software platform focused on providing health systems the tools they need to expand, engage and convert their clinical talent pipeline.

Healthcare is facing a dire clinical workforce shortage. More than 20% of clinical healthcare jobs go unfilled, resulting in high cost temporary staffing, delayed services, and even facility closings. This is a challenge the healthcare system is underprepared to face.

On the flip side, the next generation of talent is seeking careers (not just jobs), and is looking to partner with their employers on career paths that result in ever increasing skills, impact, and quality of life.

WorkUp is led by a trio of entrepreneurs who’ve collectively launched and scaled five successful tech platforms. We’re excited to build tools to help providers and talent co-invest in the skills needed for tomorrow’s healthcare. WorkUp is backed by accomplished investors at Menlo Ventures and Fika Ventures.
