The role
As an early member of the Design team at Squint, you will help create an AR platform that will change the way content is created and consumed in every facet of life. You will be creating an experience that is category-defining and the first of its kind. This will require you to understand the uses of AR and leverage the best parts to push the envelope on what is possible (i.e. re-define gestures, navigation, spatial information hierarchies, and more). You will be collaborating with PM & Eng to understand our users and map their needs to create software that is innovative, intentional, and truly world-class.

Specifically, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Lead Designer on design efforts and taking things from idea to product in users’ hands in your first week. Your typical day will include participating in and leading user research, wireframing, information structuring, rapidly prototyping with the team, and ultimately designing a product that changes the world.

About the company
Squint is a software company backed by the leading venture capital firms Sequoia Capital and Menlo Ventures (early investors in Apple, Google, Airbnb, Uber, and more). Squint’s mission is to make AR the primary mechanism for information discovery and consumption. Squint’s first product to market is a platform for manufacturers that optimizes procedures and empowers the workforce on a mobile device.
