Job Summary
Fueling growth and making sales a thrill, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving growth in bookings and maintaining the infrastructure required to achieve this goal. The BDR generates qualified leads by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, and then passing them to inside or outside sales teams. This role involves following up on inbound leads from various marketing initiatives and conducting outbound, proactive outreach to target accounts or markets. Additionally, the BDR nurtures prospects over time by discovering their needs, offering relevant resources, and understanding their position in the buying process to advance the sale.
Responsibilities
-Follow detailed lead generation techniques and maintain thorough documentation of interactions.
-Drive awareness and generate strong product interest and demand among new and existing leads.
-Pursue, cultivate, and expand opportunities to deliver long-term value and support the company's growth.
-Create strategic opportunities to enhance customer relationships, grow markets, and expand business, while staying knowledgeable about market trends to target growth effectively.
-Brainstorm and implement new ideas, initiatives, and activities to increase profitability and deliver value to both the organization and its customers.
-Identify and develop strategic alliances and partnerships, explore new markets, distribution channels, and product opportunities.
-Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and identify potential new markets.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Capable of determining and adapting courses of action based on guidelines, with the flexibility to modify processes and methods as needed.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Skilled in exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to make appropriate decisions.
-Proficient in building productive internal and external relationships, effectively collaborating to resolve mutual issues and streamline procedures or transactions.
-Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
-Demonstrates strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, resolving issues through collaborative efforts on procedures or transactions.

Base Salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 with commission potential. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
