MetaWealth is an investment platform that tokenizes real estate assets through blockchain technology, transforming physical properties into digital tokens representing ownership stakes. This approach lowers the entry threshold for investors and enhances transparency, security, and efficiency by leveraging smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) mechanisms.

At MetaWealth, we are passionate about empowering retail investors to take control of their financial future. We believe that everyone should have access to investment opportunities that can help them grow their wealth and generate passive income, regardless of their investment experience or the amount of capital they have to invest.

We’re seeking a Technical Engineering Manager with strong technical depth and leadership ability. You’ll be responsible for driving architectural decisions, overseeing day-to-day engineering execution, and enabling the growth of a cross-functional team building our tokenization platform and blockchain infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves in code, while also providing mentorship, structure, and strategy for scaling engineering teams and systems.

Responsibilities

    • Design and guide the implementation of scalable systems for tokenization, investor onboarding, asset servicing, and secondary trading on Solana.
    • Architect and oversee smart contract development using Solana's native programming frameworks (Anchor, Rust).
    • Lead and grow a team of backend, frontend, and blockchain engineers with hands-on mentorship and technical reviews.
    • Collaborate with product, compliance, and design teams to deliver secure, compliant, and user-friendly RWA experiences.
    • Define best practices for code quality, CI/CD, versioning, and smart contract deployment.
    • Ensure platform performance, availability, and security—especially across blockchain integrations and asset issuance flows.
    • Monitor progress, unblock engineering challenges, and drive execution against roadmap milestones.
    • Stay informed on Solana ecosystem improvements, token standards (e.g., SPL Tokens), and relevant RWA frameworks.

Qualifications

    • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
    • Proven experience building and scaling Web3 applications—especially using Solana.
    • Strong experience with Rust and familiarity with Solana tooling (e.g., Anchor, Solana CLI, Metaplex, SPL Token).
    • Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, or similar), relational databases (PostgreSQL), and API design.
    • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving engineering processes in startup environments.
    • Deep understanding of the RWA tokenization landscape, including on-chain asset representation, KYC/AML workflows, and regulatory considerations.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a track record of delivering complex systems.
    • Nice to Have
    • Experience with zero-knowledge proofs, account abstraction, or Solana L2 scaling solutions.
    • Familiarity with financial infrastructure, fund administration, or security tokens.
    • Contributions to open-source Solana projects or deep involvement in the Solana developer community.
    • Understanding of how compliance standards like Reg D, Reg S, or MiCA intersect with on-chain assets.
