Summary :
Metergy/Triacta Power Solutions design and manufactures revenue-grade electrical submeters for tenant billing and energy management applications The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting annual gross sales revenue targets for Triacta’s family of Multi-point electrical submeters and associated meter-management software from within a defined geographic region, market area and/or assemblage of customer grouping(s) as defined by Metergy/Triacta Sales Management. With a demonstrable working knowledge of the Company’s technology and product offerings, primary duties will include but will not be limited to discovery and securing new customer accounts, successful management and growth of existing customer accounts, negotiating, concluding successful sales through purchase orders acceptable to the Company and internal collaboration as required to enable successful order fulfillment.
Duties:
- Consistently and independently generate opportunities for sales
- Act as a primary point of contact between the customers and the Company
- Respond to customer queries, providing product information and/or conduct local/remote presentations and resolve objections
- Gather customer and project information to understand overall needs and goals
- Work collaboratively with internal Sales Engineers and Technical Support personnel to establish accurately specified and efficient electrical metering solutions deploying Metergy/Triacta-manufactured and approved resale products
- Provide customers with detailed and accurate quotations reflecting Company-structured price guidelines, or as otherwise approved by Metergy/Triacta Sales Management
- Through the Company’s CRM platform, maintain all pertinent information for Leads, Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities + all supporting sales documentation
- Assist Company Management in preparing periodic status reports and sales forecasts
- Other duties as assigned from time-time
Preferred Key Competency :
- Proven track record in selling technical building/energy management and billing solutions ideally with electrical sub-metering content Proficiency with contemporary building communication platforms and protocols considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal and account management skills
- Highly organized with a strong ability to multitask, dealing with multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; contribute ideas and alternate approaches when issues or conflicts arise
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM platform
Requirements :
- Post-Secondary Education in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role
- Commitment to quality and safety
