Role Overview:
Metergy/Triacta Power Solutions is a leading manufacturer of advanced, revenue-grade electrical submetering systems used for tenant billingenergy management, and measurement & verification. Our innovative multi-point submeters and meter-data management software serve commercial, multi-residential, and institutional buildings across North America.
We are seeking a driven and technically proficient Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and meeting annual sales targets within a defined geographic region or customer segment.

Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities for electrical submeters and related software solutions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical product information, resolving objections, and guiding the full sales cycle.
    • Conduct solution presentations (virtual or onsite) for engineers, contractors, developers, and property managers.
    • Gather project details to propose accurate and cost-effective submetering configurations.
    • Collaborate with internal Sales Engineers and Technical Support to design and specify metering solutions.
    • Generate and deliver quotations in line with company pricing guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate opportunity, contact, and project data in Salesforce CRM.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts, updates, and market feedback to Sales Management.
    • Support customer onboarding and project handoff to ensure successful fulfillment and long-term satisfaction.

Qualifications

    • Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within electrical submetering, smart metering, or building energy solutions.
    • Familiarity with building systemsmetering hardware, and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
    • Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
    • Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
