What is this role about?
McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials is looking for a Product Development Coordinator for our Higher Education division. This individual will support our product development team and collaborate with various internal stakeholders (Portfolio group, Marketing, Market Development, Platform Developers, and Sales) to ensure data integrity, product quality and customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing:
•Monitor flow of information among the Product Development and Production team, Marketing, Sales, and other functional areas.
•Support development of content by working within our digital authoring systems, correcting content when necessary, managing reviewer communication and payment, and assisting internal and freelance Product Developers with revision work.
•Support the BEC product team members with various projects related to products, research, and customer needs.
•Manage and take ownership of programs and projects from author launch meetings, through the production process, and releasing live to the market.
•Interact with the different functional areas that editorial works with including production, marketing, sales, and digital to learn more about the business and industry.
•Perform support duties: process contracts, submit invoices, order supplies, update databases to ensure data accuracy and ensure that products appear correctly for both internal and external audiences, and maintain project files.
We’re looking for someone with:
•A Bachelor’s degree.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (MS Windows, PowerPoint, Excel).
•Experience with HTML a plus.
•Familiarity with browsers and browser-based applications.
•Excellent organization and project management skills.
•Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
