THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Principal DevOps Engineer, Medical Home Network (MHN) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and development workflows. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in DevOps practices who is eager to grow in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

- Hybrid schedule: Candidates within 50 miles of Chicago are expected to work onsite 2 days per week and remotely for 3 days. Fully remote options are available for candidates located outside this area.
What You Can Look Forward To
- Assist in building and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Support infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
- Automate routine tasks and infrastructure deployments to improve consistency and reduce manual work.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the continuous integration and delivery of software.
- Collaborate with development teams to support code deployments and release processes.
- Implement and support monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Help ensure application and infrastructure reliability and performance.
- Work closely with engineers and QA to troubleshoot issues and improve deployment processes.
- Follow and promote DevOps best practices across the engineering team.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI).
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
