Backed by Temasek, YouTube’s Co-Founding CTO, blue chip VCs, and key industry insiders, Migo delivers data up to 100 times cheaper than existing networks, and that cost advantage is growing.

Migo launched in Indonesia in 2020. Migo’s initial product is sachet passes providing customers access to entertainment and education at convenient neighborhood clouds (aka Migo Download Stations/MDS). Migo today has more than 1,000 locations covering over 20 million Indonesians.

In September 2021, MNC Vision Networks (MVN), a subsidiary of leading media conglomerate MNC Group, invested $40 million for a minority stake in Migo Indonesia, accelerating Migo Indonesia’s rollout to reach 100 million Indonesians across Java by end of 2022.

Prior to the investment, Migo Indonesia became the core distributor of Vision+ (MVN’s OTT) content, by launching Vision+ on Migo to deliver a tailored experience to offline consumers.

In addition to its cornerstone partnership with Vision+, Migo Indonesia also carries entertainment content from a range of top local and international producers, and education content from the best Indonesian EdTech players, as well from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.

Job Overview

You will be reporting to our Indonesia CEO as well as working closely with the Global Talent Director to design, develop, and implement HR programs and align the strategic people plan with Indonesia's business objectives.

You will be working with a growing workforce a mix of blue- and white-collar employees as well as a high number of technical and field staff such as Manufacturing, Sales, and much more.

As a key member of the leadership team as well as a trusted advisor to the Country CEO and be in a position of true influence as the business continues to grow. You will have to be a strategic leader and willing to roll up your sleeves to be a key driver to develop our culture.

Key Responsibilities

    • Act as a key strategic business partner to understand business needs and give Talent insights to help develop the successful business goals
    • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value-added services for the best performance of the company & employees
    • Build organizational culture and regularly conduct assessments related to its implementation
    • Champion of culture and drive inspiring culture initiatives to ensure a strong culture is within the organization
    • Lead the Learning & Development Committee to support a dynamic and highly performed team with structured development initiatives
    • Design and develop leadership and organizational development solutions to build identified organizational/people capabilities required to achieve the organization's goals.
    • Develop an effective talent management strategy that is critical to the success of the business and work directly with Talent Acquisition Team
    • Partner directly with the management team on workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning
    • Continuously improving compensation package compliance with the regulation and remain competitive with the market
    • Partnering with Managers and Sr Leaders to help them understand and implement policies and procedures related to HR Compensation & Benefits policy (ie: promotion, salary increase, salary tables, etc)
    • Managing end to end Compensation architecture/structure such as Job Analysis, Job Evaluation, Job Grading, Salary structure, Employee Categorization
    • Develop best HR Operations practices to ensure local compliance and business needs are met to provide a smooth Employee lifecycle
    • Point of contact for all Employee Relation cases and resolve cases with professionalism and efficiently best for employee and company
    • Providing reporting and analyses related to HR Metrics that can help the organization to make a "data-driven" decision. (ie: HC, Costing, Turnover, Competitiveness, etc)
    • Partner with Global Talent Director to implement and align on Talent policies, practices, and programs within Indonesia and overall organization


    • At least 10 years of general Human Resource experience, with at least 4 years of experience managing and developing HR teams
    • Inspiring leader with highly collaborative team spirit; could remain calm under pressure and consistently think clearly in challenging situations
    • Proven track record in developing company's culture and L&D function
    • Ability to work through organizational complexity and work with different stakeholders at multiple levels throughout the organization in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate your ideas and resolve sensitive people-related matters in a clear yet empathetic manner across all levels within the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and leverage HR strategies to drive measurable business results
    • Meticulous attention to detail with strong business-facing skills
    • Passionate with culture, people development and coaching
    • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential
