Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager at Mindflash fills the pivotal role of positioning our incredible product and telling the world our unique story.  You’ll help define and lead execution of our market positioning, messaging and marketing … based on a deep understanding of our target customers and esteemed competitors…. across our website, sales and customer success channels. In this role, you’ll be deeply engaged with our Product, Sales and CSM teams as well as with prospects, customers, outside copywriters, designers and developers…usually all in the same day…and all to fulfill your role as is the steward of our brand, responsible for our face, voice and tone to all of our stakeholder audiences. You’ll have significant cross-functional scope and will be key to our company’s continued rapid growth and success.   Your goals will include: driving brand awareness and positive perception, maximizing Web and Sales channel conversion and customer satisfaction and success through compelling on-brand copy, content, design and delivery.

Responsibilities

    • Manage and own brand definition and implementation, working closely with Executive Staff and creative teams engaged to provide us world-class expertise and services
    • Own brand and conversion goals from the marketing website by leading its design, copy and content … providing creative direction and personally writing and editing copy as needed.  Working closely with Paid and SEO Marketing colleagues.
    • Create and implement new projects and creative which educate our customers about our product and its benefits through newsletters, emails, in-product messaging, customer-focused content/webinars, and social media designed to increase user activation, engagement and satisfaction
    • Identify and nurture Brand Ambassadors and help them promote our unique and valued offering
    • Perform competitive, market and customer research which measures the results of our branding efforts, brings new insights into the company and continuously positions us to win.
    • Manage and own product and brand positioning, definition and implementation, working closely with Executive Staff and creative teams engaged to provide us world-class expertise and services
    • Own brand awareness/perception and conversion goals from the marketing website by leading its design, copy and content … providing creative direction and personally writing and editing copy as needed and working closely with Paid and SEO Marketing colleagues.
    • Support a consistent prospect and customer experience with our product and brand through the Sales experience, by creating case studies, sales collateral and tools and which help them understand our unique offering and value … and chose to buy
    • Create and implement new tactics and creative which educate our customers about our product and its benefits through newsletters, emails, in-product messaging, customer-focused content/webinars, and social media designed to increase user activation, engagement and satisfaction
    • Identify and nurture Brand Ambassadors and help them promote our unique and valued offering
    • Perform competitive, market and customer research which measures the results of your work, brings new insights into the company and continuously positions us to win.

Requirements

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
    • Proven brand, content or product marketing veteran, with experience overseeing a team of creatives
    • Strong writing and editing experience (including website, case studies, white papers, and other customer-facing resources)
    • Excellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.
    • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
    • Past experience in evaluating and using leading Marketing automation tools including CRM, Web Analytics, as well as Email, Influencer and Social Media marketing platforms
    • Past experience performing research or building competitive analyses.
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
    • Proven product, brand or content marketing veteran, with successful B2B SaaS experience in positioning strategy and implementation in a cross-channel environment: web, inbound and outbound sales channels
    • Strong writing and editing experience (including website, case studies, white papers, and other customer-facing resources) and experience overseeing creatives
    • Excellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.
    • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
    • Experience using leading Marketing automation tools (CRM, Web Analytics, Email, Influencer and Social Media platforms) to measure and optimize the user journey as it relates to product feature value, adoption and usage
    • Experience performing research and building competitive analyses.
