We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our growing team at a leading Silicon IP company. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mind and a strong background in the semiconductor industry, who can drive business growth and strengthen our market position. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful launch and commercialization of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand competitive landscape.
    • Analyze market trends to support strategic decision-making and product positioning.
    • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
    • Negotiate and manage partnerships and collaborations that align with the company’s strategic goals.
    • Sales Enablement:
    • Provide essential support to the sales team by developing tools and resources to enhance customer engagement.
    • Work closely with sales to develop strategies that address customer needs and drive sales growth.
    • Product Development and Launch:
    • Collaborate with the product management team to gather market feedback and define product requirements.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launch and adoption.
    • Marketing and Branding:
    • Manage marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market presence.
    • Ensure consistent brand positioning across all marketing channels and activities.
    • Revenue Growth:
    • Identify and develop new revenue streams to enhance business profitability.
    • Implement strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue potential.
    • Networking and Representation:
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
    • Promote company’s thought leadership and technological advancements within the industry.
    • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and maintain robust business plans, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
    • Monitor performance against strategic goals and make adjustments as necessary.
    • 3P and Partner Engagement:
    • Engage with third-party IP providers, EDA tool companies, foundries, and service providers to support product development.
    • Manage partnerships and collaborations to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the semiconductor or related technology sectors.
    • Strong understanding of the semiconductor IP market and its key players.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives

$190,000 - $260,000 a year
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $190,000- $269,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity, and other discretionary bonuses. MIPS offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
