About the Role:

Supports the Project Manager in the development of professional upskilling programs with the aim of increasing presence of Saudi youth in leading national and international companies through providing them with first-hand experiences and allowing them to translate theoratical learning into practical experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Officer - Traineeships will have oversight and responsibility for the following:
1. Programs and Initiatives
·     Develops, monitors, and regularly reports on project plans, including milestones, action items and deliverables
·     Suggests areas of improvements for future program offerings based on available research and strategic objectives of Misk Skills
·     Conduct market research to identify skill-gap among youth
·     Continuously be on the lookout for opportunities to partner with leading local and global organizations
·     Actively seek partnerships with one of the identified priority industries
2. Company Relations
·       Identifies and contacts companies that are potentially interest in hosting Saudi talents, and maintains an up-to-date database of these companies along with the potentially different types of traineeships offered
·       Ensures partnering companies are onboarded and briefed about Misk services
·       Ensures that each traineeship experience is evaluated from the point of the trainee/intern, and that the database is updated accordingly, and is used on a regular basis for improving the range of traineeships offered as well as the quality of these traineeships
3. Customer Relations
·     On-boards selected candidates prior to their traineeships
·     Provides lobbying support during the period of traineeship
·     Develops and executes a range of outreach activities (online and offline) including university roadshows, cultural missions, and online engagement
·     Conducts activities as directed by the Project Manager, in some cases with external suppliers involved
·     Conducts selection activities such as CV screening and interviews based on guidance from the Project Manager, and assist external supplier with more advanced selection methods where appropriate
·     Provides support to candidates during the traineeship period
·     Evaluates the beneficiaries’ performance in cooperation with the Partner
4. Relationship Management
·     Acts as the main point of contact for external partners and vendors and suggests improvement, as necessary
5. Reporting
·     Evaluates and prepares reports on candidates and placement organizations’ experiences from the traineeship projects, and acts on the information as required, to identify key outcomes, next steps and lessons learned
·     Supports the planning, budgeting, and monitoring of effectiveness and impact of traineeships, through set KPIs
·     Supports the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet organizational and departmental requirements, policies, and standards
6. Continuous Improvement
·       Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices
7. Related Assignments
·     Performs other related duties or assignments as directed


- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business-related field
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus but not mandatory
- 2-4 years relevant experience, most likely gained from a role in a top-tier management consulting firm or in project management working for leading private company
- High proficiency in English language
- Outstanding records of academic achievement
- Strong ability to problem-solve and slide-writing
