Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant!
Are you a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of patients? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in providing stellar care!
Compensation: Starting at $50 per hour
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients in the comfort of their own homes, providing essential physical therapy services under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. Requirements
- Licensed to practice as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Associate degree in physical therapy
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Current CPR certification
- A licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
Job Functions
- Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
- Direct and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
- Utilize physical agents, including, but not limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage.
