Pay range (depending on experience): starting at $35/hour.
Schedule/Shift: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Territory/Location: Portland, OR
Essential Functions
- Manage Phone and Front Office Communication – Answer, screen, and transfer calls; greet and direct visitors and clients professionally.
- Provide Administrative Support – Perform general office duties including document preparation, correspondence, and data entry.
- Coordinate Office Operations – Maintain a clean, organized office environment and manage office supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Process Documents and Records – Retrieve and organize inbound documents, lab results, and ensure timely submission to medical records or appropriate teams.
- Support Meeting and Schedule Coordination – Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining internal calendars.
- Assist with HR and Staff Onboarding Tasks – Help with new hire documentation, orientation support, and coordination with HR and Scheduling.
- Provide Direct Patient Care in the Field – Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with the plan of care and under RN supervision (as needed).
- Perform Patient Assessments and Documentation – Conduct routine assessments, monitor patient conditions, and accurately document all care provided (as needed).
- Support Interdisciplinary Communication – Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians to ensure timely updates on patient status and care needs (as needed).
- Ability to perform other job duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
- Current and active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Oregon – required
- Current TB test and ability to meet all clinical compliance requirements – required for patient care
- Minimum of 1 year administrative or office coordination experience, preferably in a healthcare or home health setting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning EMR systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Willingness and flexibility to provide direct patient care in the field as needed
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance – required for field visits
