The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering the main phone line, routine clerical matters and assuring that documents flow in a coordinated and efficient manner.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate person to join our team! Pay is $19-20/hour

Schedule:
Weekdays from 7a-4p, 8a-5p, 9a-6p, or 10a-7p, and weekends from 8a-5p.
Flexibility and adaptability are crucial. 

Responsibilities

    • Deliver excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
    • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.
    • Provides assistance to all Managers and Directors, preserving the confidential nature of items of which he/she has knowledge. 
    • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquires.
    • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, and giving instructions.
    • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
    • Maintains the files, supplies, postage and general office condition in an orderly manner.
    • Accept and sign for packages and distribute mail.
    • Other duties as assigned by Manager. 

Qualifications

    • High school graduate with minimum of two years of progressive business experience. 
    • Proficient in word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
$19 - $20 an hour
