Here at Healthy Living, our PTAs provide incredible care to help our home health patients to restore their functional status. This role is Full Time - Mon - Fri, about 8:00am - 5:00pm. Our PTA will be expected to complete 60-70 points per week, for routine visits.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as physical therapist assistant within the state
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist and current CPR;
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements and an operational vehicle.
- CPR with BLS
Duties
- Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care.
- Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
- Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.
- Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes which will be incorporated into the patient’s clinical record in prescribed time frames.
- Participates in Organization Home Care Team Members meetings and Organization In-service Education Program.
$45 - $55 an hour
