Rate is negotiable depending on experience! We offer benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) and mileage reimbursement for our Full time employees (5-6 patients a day).
Compensation starting at $56/ hour, DOE!
This role has full time availability in McMinnville or Salem. As we proudly serve a 60 mile radius within Salem, this role will also assist other areas as needed and partake in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of one (1) year recent nursing experience as an RN or LVN/LPN (per state regulations) preferably in the area of public health, home care or hospice nursing.
- Current licensure in state and CPR/BLS certificate.
- Management experience not required.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
- Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to life, position or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/organization requirements and is in good working order.
Duties:
- Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process.
- Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
- Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan.
