As the Head of Commercial, Korea, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for Mistplay in the Korean market. Reporting directly to our VP, Commercial, and closely collaborating with our Global Head of Accounts, you will lead a team of Sales Executives and Account Managers based in Korea. Your responsibilities will include achieving revenue targets, developing commercial strategies, and fostering client relationships to support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve overall revenue targets for the Korean market.
    • Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with Mistplay’s broader commercial objectives.
    • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives and Account Managers based in Korea.
    • Establish and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals, along with corresponding plans and progress reports.
    • Enhance the client lifecycle for Mistplay’s Korean clients, covering prospecting, pitching, closing, relationship building, and account growth.
    • Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline with the Sales team.
    • Provide support in client negotiations when necessary.
    • Leverage your network to enhance Mistplay’s brand awareness, reputation, and acquire new clients.
    • Actively participate in resolving client issues and identifying opportunities to expand business with existing clients.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to plan key events and attend industry conferences in the region.
    • Distill global best practices and implement learnings within the Korean market.
    • Advocate for the needs and wants of the team and clients with Mistplay HQ.

Qualifications & Skills:

    • Native fluency in both written and spoken Korean. Fluency in English is essential.
    • 7 years of commercial experience in ad tech/mobile gaming, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business administration or with a marketing focus.
    • Existing relationships in the Korean mobile gaming industry.
    • Experience and understanding of user acquisition and/or performance marketing.
    • Previous management experience of a commercial team, ideally in an organization with an international headquarters.
    • Proven track record of closing deals and meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
    • Ability to generate leads and build opportunity pipelines.
    • Proficiency in using Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar enablement tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across business functions and regions.
    • Willingness to collaborate with international teams, including travel and working outside of Korean business hours when needed.
