Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and serving as a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this visionary leader will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing people strategies that propel us towards our goals. Additionally, they bring insights from prominent corporations with abundant resources, enabling a clear vision of "world-class" standards in a resource-rich environment.  Furthermore, their background in line of business leadership equips them with a deep understanding of internal customer needs, fostering effective People strategies tailored to organizational objectives. As a change agent and process improvement leader, you'll collaborate closely with SLT members, our CEO and Founder John Rice, and the Board of Directors, driving initiatives that reinforce our goals, objectives, and culture. Work You’ll Do

    • Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth to drive organizational success. Serve as a role model for people leadership, embodying the values of teamwork, integrity, and empathy in all interactions and decisions.
    • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement innovative people strategies aligned with MLT's goals and objectives. Lead the creation of a forward-thinking People vision that anticipates future talent needs and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Leverage previous leadership experience to align people strategies with internal customer needs, providing visionary guidance to senior leadership on people-related matters. 
    • Talent and Change Management: Drive proactive culture development and stewardship, capturing insights regarding success drivers, and acting on them to ensure seamless functioning and continuous improvement. Champion change management by spearheading organizational initiatives, communicating changes effectively, and facilitating employee adaptation to new processes or structures. Implement a comprehensive Talent Management strategy. Prioritize Learning and Development (L&D), talent mapping team skills, establishing skilling pathways, promoting career growth within the organization, and addressing immediate talent needs to pave the way for future success
    • People Operations: Oversee all People functions including, Total Rewards (including Executive Compensation), HRIS / Data & Analytics, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Policy Development, to ensure seamless functioning and continuous improvement in support of organizational growth and alignment with business objectives.

What You’ll Have

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR/People experience, including 5 years in senior executive roles.
    • Experience leading People operations overseeing all functions.
    • Expertise in line of business leadership, providing a deep understanding of internal customer needs, including providing guidance to senior leadership and the Board of Directors on people-related matters.
    • Strong understanding of comprehensive talent management strategy, particularly in the areas of succession planning and talent mapping.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage people analytics and metrics to drive business outcomes.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead change with resilience and adaptability.
