Management Leadership for Tomorrow is seeking a highly experienced consultant who is excited to work in the social sector advising high-visibility, top corporate clients on a project basis. You should be excited about joining a growing team, sharing your expertise advising senior leaders at major organizations on how to build and sustain their diverse leadership pipelines. Previous experience with diversity, equity and inclusion, human capital, or talent recruitment / development is required, as is experience working within a complex corporate or professional services environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional transitioning from a management consultancy.

You have the exciting opportunity to support MLT’s Advisory Services in delivering impactful diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consulting solutions for our partners. As a strategic growth area for MLT since 2018, Advisory Services builds upon MLT’s nearly 20-years of insights and deep understanding of underrepresented employee perspectives to help our partners develop DEI business strategies and plans, redesign processes, and support senior executives in driving equitable and inclusive change across their organizations. 

As a 1099 Consultant, you will support Advisory Engagement Leaders in developing rigorous DEI strategies using MLT’s Business Equity approach and provide executive-level advice in ‘what works’ practices for DEI results. You will leverage your experience in DEI issues and opportunities to provide targeted insights and ensure our clients are at the forefront of DEI expectations and measurable outcomes. Alongside the MLT team members, you will work to ensure the success of the client engagement  - including supporting client conversations and training, sharing insights and knowledge about the DEI journey with clients, and completing client-ready deliverables.

To succeed in this role, candidates will need to have the following:
Strong executive communication skills
Strong results-orientation and sense of urgency
Commitment to the social sector and MLT's mission and values
Experience with PowerPoint and Google Suite products is a plus

Key Responsibilities

    • Provide tailored subject matter expertise for the development of DEI strategies, ensuring MLT’s recommendations and insights are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs
    • Support the presentation and communication of strategic recommendations
    • Participate in executive-level conversations, sharing your expertise and experience
