The Opportunity
The role is a critical one for MLT as Salesforce is the organization’s main source of data truth and as such the person will be responsible for leading all new feature assessment and implementation, user acceptance testing, technical project fulfillment, integration efforts, release updates, flow automation, root cause analysis, advanced reporting, user support and maintenance and enhancements for our Salesforce instances. This position will manage multiple projects without managing other employees directly and report to the Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations.

In addition to having a fairly robust Salesforce instance, the MLT ecosystem includes over a dozen additional platforms that integrate with Salesforce in a variety of ways. These platforms include HubSpot (email marketing), SurveyMonkey Apply (grants, scholarships, fellowships), FormAssembly (form builder), QuestionPro (surveys), Classy (donations), Cyclr (API integration), Cvent (events), and various platforms.

Work You’ll do

    • Manage and maintain Salesforce production and sandbox environments, including user setup, data management, and system customization
    • Manage, maintain, and monitor integrations between Salesforce and related platforms
    • Design, implement and maintain automation in Salesforce using Flows
    • Develop and maintain documentation for Salesforce processes and procedures
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
    • Analyze existing Salesforce instance and integrations and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Provide training and support for users on Salesforce platform and automation processes

What You Have

    • Bachelor's degree is required
    •  Salesforce Administrator Certification is highly preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Administration and maintenance including performing complex upgrades and successful API and cross-platform integrations
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize Salesforce infrastructure including Flows, process builders, workflows, custom objects, integrations, and performance metrics
    • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
    • Experience working with a variety of Salesforce integrations preferred e.g. Form Assembly, HubSpot, G-Suite, Conga, Cvent, SMS-Magic, Calendly, SM Apply
    • Expert problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
    • Track record of innovation within an ambiguous, evolving environment
