MMI Agency is looking for a proactive, passionate and highly driven SEM expert to join our dynamic and growing conversation agency. Ideal candidates will be detailed oriented, process driven and take complete ownership of their tasks. They will have a proven track record of developing, executing and managing successful SEM campaigns that have met and exceeded campaign goals and business objectives. The will be responsible for end to end management from creation, set-up and launch, optimizations to reporting and insights. They are expected to work closely with the clients on a day to day basis in providing SEM expertise and recommendations. They will also work closely with all internal teams; account, insights, media, and social to ensure all efforts are fully integrated. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills as they will be working in a fast paced environment with multiple projects. They must be strategic but also hands-on, diplomatic yet inspirational, and poised under pressure.

Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic counsel to clients, understand their business, and serve as their go-to thought leader on SEM and PPC opportunities
    • Develop and implement SEM and PPC related campaigns, strategies and initiatives
    • Create and manage campaign forecasting trends, budget planning, pacing and advanced optimization techniques
    • Analyze performance data, formulate insights and translate them to actionable next steps
    • Conduct keyword research and development
    • Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports per client’s business specs
    • Identify campaign expansion and testing opportunities to increase performance
    • Ensure company processes and best practices are leveraged such as campaign launch, Q/A and ongoing management
    • Problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues related to SEM campaigns such as trafficking and tagging
    • Manage daily relationships with vendors and technology platforms
    • Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEM initiatives
    • Assist with build and maintaining project management processes that streamline SEM initiatives
    • Assist clients in building and understanding business goals in relation to SEM strategies and programs
    • Adept at explaining difficult concepts using simple language and graphics
    • Maintaining expertise on search engine marketing news and trends

Requirements

    • 3+years of tactical and strategic experience in SEM and PPC
    • Possess a BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, Mathematics, Data and Analytics, or related discipline
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Show the ability to articulate clearly and effectively both in writing and in person
    • Strong proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, graphs, formulas, etc)
    • Working knowledge of bid/campaign management platforms such as Doubleclick, Marin, Kenshoo etc
    • Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics platforms
    • Familiarity with other digital marketing such as SEO, Social Media, Display, Video and Mobile
    • Demonstrate passion and thirst for knowledge of SEM and digital marketing in general
    • Show enthusiasm, commitment, creativity and positive can do attitude
    • Enjoy problem solving and have the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
    • Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments
    • Provide training and education for non-SEM team members and clients
    • Google Adwords and Google Analytics certification a plus
    • Experienced in managing CPA, CPL, ROI and ROAS campaigns preferred
