MMI is looking to add a Creative Director (Design) to our team with a proven ability to lead a team to deliver data-driven, strategic and compelling campaign creative. We are looking for an individual who is highly creative in both advertising strategy and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is experienced in performance marketing, digital advertising, web design and the mobile marketing landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

    • Interviewing for roles 1-2 levels below
    • Vendor + third-party vendor relationships
    • Team management (timesheets, regular 1:1 connects)
    • Career paths/growth plan for team
    • Resource management in partnership with Biz Ops RM
    • Practice-specific interaction with clients in partnership with Account team
    • Process documentation
    • Training and onboarding
    • Scope management (internal flags to CE only)
    • Internal account team management
    • Ensures quality and standards of practice deliverables
    • Manages quality of engagement
    • Collaborates with other practices
    • Executes deliverables as defined by scope
    • Upholds agency processes and compliance
    • Activation strategy in partnership with Account team
    • QBRs and planning
    • Practice productization
    • Creative specific thought leadership
    • Creative scope estimation
    • Pricing and SOW creation (only when Client Experience isn’t scoped)
    • Renewal and growth of current accounts in partnership with Client Experience
    • New biz pitches with cross-practice team
    • Practice level case studies

SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Ability to translate marketing objectives into big ideas for current and
    • new business
    • Persuasive presentation skills to sell big ideas to senior leadership and clients
    • Proven ability to direct a team to deliver data-driven, strategic and compelling campaign creative
    • Ability to develop a full funnel, multi-platform creative strategy independently
    • Ability to maintain momentum around creative concepts and develop multi-platform extensions that amplify campaigns across the consumer landscape
    • Skillfully inspire, motivate, and mentor more junior team members
    • Decisiveness in evaluating creative work against a brief and providing constructive feedback to creative teams
    • Direct vendor and freelance creatives to achieve the high-quality design standards of MMI
