MMI is looking to add a highly driven Media Director to our team! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is hands on, possesses a tireless work ethic and sets an example that others want to follow. Media Directors should have extensive background in the planning, buying, executing and subsequent evaluation of media channels that are relevant to drive the client’s business KPIs. Additionally, they should be able to see the bigger media landscape and determine the ideal media outlet mix to drive business results.


    • Own the client relationship for agency and client management for digital media and related services
    • Engage with senior client executives to align key agency resources to meet client needs and to grow the client’s business
    • Oversee digital campaign development, and implement engagement campaigns and initiatives that successfully build profitable, long-term relationships with clients
    • Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client campaign success
    • Actively test and monitor campaign delivery, traffic, and activity to develop insights from analytics resulting in recommendations for campaign improvements
    • Lead end-to-end acquisition campaign strategy, planning, launch, optimization & performance measurement across digital channels
    • Oversee Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting: Manage annual budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs.
    • Maintain Constant Level of Optimization by constantly seeking optimization and growth through performance analysis, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, creative partnership, landing page optimization and more.
    • Identify new channels of opportunity to invest and find incremental user growth with strong ROI
    • Build and present comprehensive strategy presentations and business model projects working closely with finance and business leadership on projected media spend & impact.
    • Analyze and optimize channel performance on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets or exceeds targets; present results to broader acquisition team and marketing leadership
    • Support the Group Media Directors to define the work scope of the practice. Involved in the internal and external hiring, evaluation and retention process to build a top-talent team
    • Support the success of the team by ensuring best in class standards are met and timely applied to client work
    • Provide POVs on relevant media trends for clients and help establish industry recognition for MMI
    • Create and sustain an encouraged cross-learning environment for all current and emerging media channels in order to stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies and techniques
    • Train and mentor media managers and media specialists


    • Minimum of 7 years as a media professional – preferably working with or for an agency   
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience effectively managing teams and inspiring them to deliver their best work
    • Strong management and interpersonal skills
    • Capable of leading in person and over the phone client presentations, with strong emphasis on quarterly business reviews
    • Experience in successfully planning and strategizing integrated campaigns, including multiple tactics
    • History of successfully pitching business opportunities to existing and potential clients
    • Proven track record of building and sustaining client relationships at a senior level
    • Able to write concisely and present ideas confidently
    • Willingness to travel on occasion for client meetings 
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and proven ability to learn and master additional productivity software
